Judith McCleary
I am proud to be one of the first Trustees of Scottish Judo Trust and to be striving to make judo more accessible, particularly for people who face additional barriers in everyday life. Judo’s moral code is instilled in judo activities, helping people to gain skills for life that are transferable into a multitude of areas. Through judo, individuals can develop themselves and achieve things they may never have thought possible. I am excited to see what impacts Scottish Judo Trust will have!
Graham Campbell
I have been involved with judo for over 50 years as a competitor, Treasurer of JudoScotland and on the Board of the BJA. I am a 6th Dan. Judo has helped shape and change my life. The values of judo are important to me and I hope the Scottish Judo Trust will give the opportunity and support that will help others achieve their potential and make lifelong friends along the way. In challenging times, judo builds resilience and helps us all get up from being thrown to search for our next ippon.

I have been involved with JudoScotland as a board member for two years but started doing Judo 43 years ago! It is safe to say that I am still learning as an occasional judoka these days. The values of judo are as important to me today as they were when I started and I hope the Scottish Judo Trust will in some way help others take on that journey and gain as many opportunities from Judo that others and I have had, and that they can take that on into life wherever that path may lead. I firmly believe Judo truly is a sport for all and hope that the Scottish Judo Trust can help support that ethos strongly, complementing JudoScotland's strategy.
